Jessica Boylan
Attorney at Law
Jessica Boylan’s passion for the law began early and took root during her time at Wake Forest University, where she gained invaluable experience through internships with capital defense attorneys and the Pittsboro Solicitor’s Office. Her journey brought her to the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2011, where she discovered her dedication to family law.
For over a decade, Jessica has exclusively focused on domestic law, honing her skills as a litigator and earning recognition for her steadfast advocacy and practical advice. She has been named a Midlands Legal Elite, Super Lawyers Rising Star, and Best Lawyers in America Ones to Watch. Her expertise extends beyond the courtroom—she has presented at legal seminars and enhanced her skills at the Houston Family Law Institute. Notably, she has also successfully argued cases before the South Carolina Court of Appeals.
Jessica’s commitment to service stems from her grandfather, a WWII veteran and POW, who inspired her dedication to the military community. She served as an adjunct professor for the Veteran’s Clinic at the University of South Carolina School of Law, mentoring students in providing legal aid to low-income veterans. Today, Jessica continues to represent servicemembers and their spouses with pride and dedication.
In October 2024, Jessica fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening Boylan Law, a boutique family law firm dedicated to providing compassionate and responsive legal representation.

Mackenzie Wise brings a wealth of experience and empathy to her role as a paralegal at Boylan Law. She began her career in family law, quickly gaining expertise in domestic relations. After years as a colleague and neighbor to Jessica, Mackenzie officially joined Boylan Law to continue her work supporting families during life’s most challenging moments. Her dedication to responsive and empathetic client service is central to the firm’s mission.
